This week-long, 9am – 4pm, camp for kids 8-12 will include morning Poetry Workshop with Fatima Hirsi, Dallas’ typewriter wielding sidewalk poet, and afternoon Zine Making, hands-on creation of a uniquely realized, individual mini magazine of self-expression and artistic work, led by poet and artist Lisa Huffaker, of the award winning “Best of Dallas” Zine Workshops. Over the five day camp, attendees create their own zine while learning creative writing, collaging, printmaking, and bookbinding.
